Hailing from County Donegal and taking influence from the likes of Leadbelly and John Lee Hooker, Rory Gallagher was one of the biggest talents in blues. Beginning his music journey with the trio Taste before going solo, Gallagher built up a reputation for mammoth live shows, charismatic vocals and scintillating guitar riffs and solos. Fabulous stuff!

2CD set spanning Rory's solo years. Good mix of live & studio tracks including some of his best acoustic material. All-out rockers like Cradle Rock, Shadow Play and Follow Me ride alongside smokin' bluesrockers such as Laundromat, Bullfrog Blues and Loanshark Blues. Some low-down & dirty, slow blues with I Could've Had Religion, from a smoldering live set. Really, you can't go wrong here...it's Rory...it's GREAT!
